Dammit. It has stoped to work with OS Lion. Doesnt show the full text of quote. The gestures dont work too. Fix it please.

I liked the idea of inspirational quotes but the app just plain DOESNT WORK. Other reviewers said the same thing. It doesnt post complete sentences, it just posts half the sentence in many instances. Also some quotes just kept repeating even though they were attributed to different people. But as others said, half sentences are not very helpful or useful. It says things like "Nothing to fear but" It feels like its a guessing game where Im supposed to figure out the rest of the quote. Another one going into the trash bin. It seems like some apps are free for a reason. I see it was last updated in April; I wonder if perhaps its not compatible with Lion. Otherwise, I dont understand the problem..and emails to the developer went unanswered.

This review is ultimately just a timestamp, communicating that the quotes are still cut off after an initial fragment is displayed, following a clean initial install today -- August 24, 2011 Seems like a great application based on the concept and prior feedback --- I would love to update this review and enjoy the app!!

Most of the quotes are great, and the screensaver is a really nice add-on. I wish I could filter some quotes that have something to do with people, plants and other creatures evolveing.

Additional quotes would be a welcome addition. The "But" comes into play due to misspelled words in the quotes. Please proofread all quotes, make necessary corrections, and issue an update. Thanks!

I absolutely love this app! I love having an inspiring quote pop up throughout the day while I am working tirelessly on school work. And it always seems like the "perfect" quote pops up; it seems like every quote is what I need to read when I am feeling a certain way.

As a filmaker, insperation is something that I need all the time. And Forismatic does a perfect job of providing it. It has a very clean interface which is also great. All in all, I love the app. Props to the developers.

It is truly inspirational. As a student in the IB program, it really helps to look at the quotes once and a while. Especially when times are tough, and the homework is piled high, it is alwas nice to get an inspirational piece of mind.

The title says it all. Its a waste of memory

This app was good at first, the relaxation quotes are great, but after the third one, It kept on repating. Please add more quotes and make more random!!!!;-D

After I updated to this version, it crashes when I try to launch it!

Dont update. This program was running fine and now it refuses to open. I tried installing the program more than once and restarted my computer, but to no avail. I will amend this review once the program works again.

It had been a while since I ran this program. In fact, I dont remember why I installed it. I saw the update today, and figured Id see what it was again. I ran it, but nothing happened, so I suppose Im not missing much.

Every time I try to load it, it crashes. Hopefully its just my computer but if not, PLEASE FIX!!! Im still hopeful and be grateful that I didnt rate with a single star, repair this flaw quickly... :P

I was really excited about this app, but every time I go to load it, the app crashes. Lots of people have given this app a high rating so my guess is this is a glitch with this version, but I would like it fixed.

This used to be one of my all-time favorite applications. Since I updated the app to its current version, however, it doesnt function at all. A grey window will open for a moment (maybe two seconds), disappears and then theres no sign of Forismatic anywhere. Im running 10.6 and everything was fine until I updated the app to version 1.3. Developer, please fix this. This was a terrific program that always got me thinking.

I love this app, but the twitter feed keeps asking for authorization and username….. iritating

I use this app every day. It helps me to take the right idea of all the events in my life. By the way --> additional quotations collection brings a lot of fresh ideas!
